Nicht gefallen: De bedden zijn ronduit slecht. Heel zacht en het lijkt alsof je op een waterbed ligt. Als degene naast je zich omdraait dein je mee.

Gefallen: My wife and I loved the pods they where clean and cosy the pub was lovely and the food was great plenty to do in the area

Gefallen: We absolutely loved the unique woodland setting of the Lake District pods. The location is beautiful, and the pod itself is a lovely space to relax in.

Nicht gefallen: The housekeeping at check-in fell far short of expectations. We noticed a clear pattern of missed cleaning throughout the pod: there were crumbs scattered on the bedsheets, visible white stains on the blue decorative blanket, the velvet armchair hadn't been vacuumed of hair and debris, and the inside of the kitchen bin lid was covered in dried food splatters. Housekeeping definitely needs closer attention.

Gefallen: The location was great and the bed was comfy.

Nicht gefallen: Check in wasn’t as smooth as it could have been as I didn’t receive the instruction email on the morning of check in, so had to call when we arrived. The pod wasn’t as clean as expected and didn’t have all of the amenities to make it a perfect base. There are no cooking facilities on site, so if it rains it’s not ideal.

Gefallen: The pod was well appointed and in a peaceful and beautiful area. Great first impression and smelt lovely when we walked in. Bath robes are provided, which is a nice touch, and towels and robes were nice and clean. Having the pub on site was ideal. The food was gorgeous and the staff were friendly.

Nicht gefallen: The fridge was a bit noisy through the night. Although the pod was generally nice and clean, it just needed a bit of attention around the shower tray and our bed sheet had a mark on it. Also, I thought that the bin in the kitchen could do with being bigger, a bit small for self-catering on a three night stay. This is being picky as all-in-all we had a great stay.

Gefallen: The property was spacious , clean , well set out and reasonably priced , had a pub nearby and was comfortable

Nicht gefallen: During our stay it was far to hot and the facilities to cool the pod were mediocre , no more than a small fan which just blew warm air around , a suggestion would be to apply air conditioning inside the pods as ours was at 33° room temperature during our whole stay
